How to Setup Facebook Crossposting Automation on Nuelink

Facebook Crossposting lets you share your videos, photos, and text posts to several social media accounts at the same time. This guide shows you how to set it up so every new post on your Facebook page goes out everywhere automatically.

Note: To follow this guide, you'll need a Nuelink account, a connected Facebook page, and at least one other channel connected to Nuelink to cross-post to.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Go to the Automations tab and click Create Automation.

   

2. Choose Crossposting, then select Facebook Crossposting.

   

3. Pick the Facebook page you want to use as the source. This is where your posts will come from.

   

4. Select the destination accounts you want to crosspost to. These are the channels that will receive a copy of each new post.

   

5. (Optional) Assign the posts to a collection if you want them scheduled instead of published right away.

   

6. (Optional) Auto-thread long captions for text posts on platforms with limited character count. 

   

7. (Optional) Add a post title for the platforms that need one, such as Pinterest, YouTube, and Facebook videos.

   

8. (Optional) Set up a follow-up comment to post automatically under each crossposted item.

   

9. (Optional) Add filters to control what gets crossposted. You can filter by post type and by hashtags.

   

10. Review your setup and click Confirm to turn on the automation.

    

That's it, you're all set! From now on, every new post on your Facebook page will be shared to the accounts you chose.

Managing Your Automation

Once your automation is running, you can manage it any time from the Automations tab. From there you can:

• Check its history to see what has been crossposted.
• Edit the source, destinations, or filters.
• Refresh it to pull in the latest changes.
• Pause it when you want to stop crossposting for a while.
• Remove it if you no longer need it.

FAQs

Does crossposting apply to my existing Facebook posts?

No. Crossposting only works on content you upload after the automation is set up. Older posts are not included.

Can I crosspost between two Facebook pages?

Not right now. Crossposting works from a Facebook page to other social media platforms, but not from one Facebook page to another.

Can I schedule crossposted content instead of publishing it right away?

Yes. In Step 5, assign the posts to a collection. Content added to a collection follows your scheduled posting times instead of going out immediately.

Can I choose which posts get crossposted?

Yes. Use the filters in Step 8 to crosspost only certain post types or posts that include specific hashtags.

Can I add a comment under each crossposted post?

Yes. Turn on the follow-up comment option in Step 7 and enter the text you'd like added automatically.

Troubleshooting

New Facebook posts aren't showing up on my other accounts.

Check that the automation is active and not paused in the Automations tab. Also make sure the post was uploaded after you set up the automation; existing posts are not crossposted.

I can't select my Facebook page as the source.

The page must be connected to Nuelink first. Go to Channels, connect your Facebook page, then start the automation again.

A destination account was skipped.

Confirm the account is still connected and healthy in the Channels tab. If it shows as disconnected, reconnect it, then refresh the automation from the Automations tab.

My posts published right away when I wanted them scheduled.

Edit the automation and assign the posts to a collection (Step 5). Without a collection, crossposted content is published immediately.
