How to Connect Bluesky to Nuelink.

Have you heard the news? You can link your Bluesky account with Nuelink to plan your posts. Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you connect your Bluesky account to Nuelink.


Note: Bluesky has its own way of handling authorization and connection, which is different from other platforms. To get started, you'll need to create an app password in your Bluesky account. Here’s a straightforward guide to help you through the process.

Connect Bluesky to Nuelink. 

  1. Navigate to ‘Social Channels’ on the left menu.

Click on Social Channels


  1. Click ‘Connect Channel’ at the top right corner.

  1. Click the ‘Connect’ button below the Bluesky icon.

  1. On this page, you need to paste your Bluesky handle and App passcode. Not sure how? See the next steps.

  1. Open your Bluesky account in another tab, and click on ‘settings’ at the bottom of the left menu.

  1. Copy the Blusky handle from the top, it should be something like “username.bsky.social” unless you have a custom domain e. g. "nuelink.com".

  1. Go back to Nuelink, and paste the Bluesky handle in the box.

  1. Go back to Bluesky, but this time click on privacy and settings.

  1. Click on “App Passwords” to create a new password to connect to Nuelink.

  1. Click the “+ Add App Password” button to create a password.

    Keep in mind that this is not your login password; rather, it serves as a key that will grant Nuelink access to your Bluesky account.

  1. Give a name to this password, e.g. ‘Nuelink’.

    You can stick with the default password name or create your own.

  1. Allow access to direct messages, this will enable you to reply to your DMs from the Nuelink Social Inbox (coming soon).

  1. Click ‘Next’ to generate a random passcode.

  1. Go back to Nuelink, and Paste the passcode in the box.

  1. Confirm by clicking on “Connect Bluesky Account”.

  1. Your Bluesky account has been successfully connected to Nuelink.

    Now, your Bluesky account is ‘Active’ which means you can schedule and publish your posts via Nuelink right away.

Can I post multimedia to Bluesky via Nuelink?

Yes, you can post multimedia images of up to 4 images per post (only images).


Can I post videos to Bluesky via Nuelink?

Yes, you can post videos up to 60 seconds per post via Nuelink.


Why did my post to Bluesky fail? 

Make sure you verify your email on Bluesky beforehand to avoid any posting errors, also make sure you respect the media requirements of Bluesky, which are: 

  • Images and videos less than 50MB.
  • 1 Video per post, less than 60 seconds.
  • 4 images max per post.

Can we schedule Bluesky threads?

Yes, you can also schedule it in the same way you schedule Twitter threads, from the threads tab on the Post Editor. Or by Auto-Thread option when you exceed the character count for the platform (300 characters per post on Bluesky).


Can we schedule follow-up comments?

Yes, you can easily set a follow-up comment to be added to your Bluesky post directly from the post editor at the bottom. 


Do you have analytics?

Yes, you can see your Bluesky analytics from the Insights tab on the Nuelink dashboard.


Can I cross-post Bluesky to X, Threads, and others?

Of course, just use the Bluesky cross-posting automation from the crossposting tab in the automation section. You can also crosspost the other way around, from X, Threads, and other social media channels to Bluesky.


Can I tag/mention someone on Bluesky?

Sure! Hit the ‘@’ symbol and follow it with the Bluesky handle of the account you would like to mention on your post, the handle should look something like this “@username.bsky.social” unless it has a custom domain e. g. "@nuelink.com". Make sure you write the full username correctly, and once posted the account will be tagged.


Can I reply to comments within Nuelink?

Now it’s not available due to API restrictions, but it will be coming to Nuelink very soon, stay tuned!
