Weekly Schedule FAQs and Troubleshooting
What is the Weekly Queue Schedule?
The Weekly Queue Schedule is the engine behind Nuelink's automated publishing. Instead of picking a date and time for every individual post, you create a master schedule for your week. You tell Nuelink, "Post something from my 'Social Proof' collection every Monday at 9:40 AM," and Nuelink will automatically pull the next available post from that collection and publish it at that exact time.
This approach saves you hours of manual work. You can bulk-add content to your collections, and Nuelink will drip it out according to the schedule you've built. It ensures consistency, keeps your social feeds active, and frees you up to focus on creating great content rather than managing a calendar.
How to Add Timeslots to Your Schedule
Creating your weekly schedule is straightforward. You can add multiple timeslots for each collection, giving you complete control over your content mix throughout the week.
Here is how to set up your timeslots:
- Navigate to Queue in the left-hand menu.

- Make sure you have selected the correct brand from the brand dropdown (if you manage multiple brands).

- Click on the Posting Schedule tab at the top of the page.

- In the Managing Timeslots section, you will see a dropdown menu for your collections. Select the collection you want to schedule (e.g., "Our Blog" or "Weekly Polls").

- Choose the day of the week you want the post to go out.

- Set the specific time for the post.

- Click the Add slots button.

You will immediately see the new timeslot appear on your weekly calendar view below. The calendar is color-coded by collection, making it easy to visualize your content distribution at a glance. You can repeat this process to add as many time slots as you need for each collection.
Important: Each Brand Has Its Own Queue and Schedule
When you work with multiple brands in Nuelink, each brand operates independently with its own queue and posting schedule. This means that the timeslots you set for Brand A will not affect Brand B, and vice versa. Similarly, each brand maintains its own independent queue of posts waiting to be published.
This separation is intentional and beneficial. It allows you to:
- Maintain brand-specific posting patterns: Brand A might post three times daily, while Brand B posts once a day, without any conflict.
- Manage different content strategies: Each brand's collections and timeslots are completely isolated, so you can tailor your content distribution strategy to each brand's unique audience and goals.
- Switch between brands easily: When you select a different brand from the dropdown menu in Nuelink, you automatically switch to that brand's queue and posting schedule.
When you navigate to the Posting Schedule page, you are always viewing and editing the schedule for your currently selected brand. Make sure you have the correct brand selected before adding or modifying timeslots.
Additional Queue Controls
Beyond setting timeslots and timezones, the Posting Schedule page offers a few extra tools to help you manage your content flow:
- Shuffle Queue: If you want to mix up the order of the posts currently waiting in your queue, click the Shuffle Queue button. This will randomize the order, keeping your feed fresh and unpredictable. Note that this only affects the current brand's queue.
- Pause Queue: If you need to temporarily stop all publishing for a brand, perhaps during a major news event or a company rebrand, you can toggle the Pause Queue switch. This will halt all outgoing posts for that brand until you are ready to resume.
By taking a few minutes to set up your Weekly Queue Schedule, you build a reliable, automated system that keeps your social media presence active and engaging, week after week.
Weekly Schedule FAQs and Troubleshooting
What happens if I switch brands? Will my schedule change?
Yes. When you switch to a different brand, you will see that brand's unique queue and posting schedule. Each brand has its own completely independent weekly schedule. If you switch back to your original brand, you will see its schedule again exactly as you left it.
What if I delete a collection? What happens to the timeslots using that collection?
If you delete a collection that has active timeslots in your schedule, those timeslots will become inactive and will no longer publish posts. We recommend removing the timeslots from your schedule before deleting a collection to avoid confusion.
Can I have different timeslots for the same collection on the same day?
Yes, absolutely. You can add multiple timeslots for the same collection on the same day at different times. For example, you could post from your "Social Proof" collection at 9:40 AM and again at 3:00 PM on Monday.
How does the timezone setting affect my scheduled posts?
The timezone you set for a brand determines when your scheduled posts will actually go live. If you set a timeslot for 9:00 AM and your brand's timezone is set to "(+01:00) Africa/Casablanca," the post will publish at 9:00 AM Casablanca time. If you later change the timezone to "(+05:00) Pakistan/Karachi," that same 9:00 AM timeslot will now publish at 9:00 AM Pakistan time instead.
What is the difference between the queue and the posting schedule?
The queue is the list of posts waiting to be published. The posting schedule is the set of rules that determines when posts from your queue get published. The schedule pulls posts from your queue according to the timeslots you have set up. If your queue is empty, no posts will be published even if you have timeslots configured.
Can I manually override a scheduled post?
Yes. You can always manually publish a post from your queue at any time, even if it is not scheduled to go out yet. You can also manually move posts around in your queue or delete them. The posting schedule will continue to publish according to your timeslots, pulling the next available post from the queue.
What if I have no posts in my queue? Will my timeslots still be active?
Your timeslots will remain active and configured, but no posts will be published if your queue is empty. We recommend keeping your queue stocked with content so that your posting schedule can run smoothly without interruption.
Can I edit a timeslot after I have created it?
Currently, to modify a timeslot, you will need to delete it and create a new one with the updated details. We are always working on improving this workflow based on user feedback.
Does the posting schedule work across all social platforms?
Yes. When you set up a timeslot for a collection, the posts from that collection will be published to all the social channels you have configured for that collection. The posting schedule respects your collection's channel settings.
How does the posting order work?
On Nuelink, you can control your posting order from the collections settings. Go to your Collection > Settings > scroll down to Queue Order. You can set it to the top of the queue(first in, first out), the bottom of the queue (last in, first out), or random to shuffle your collection posts.
