How to Refresh/Reconnect Your Channel
Keeping your social media channels connected to Nuelink is key to making sure your posts go out without interruption. This guide shows you how to refresh or reconnect a channel when it shows as disconnected or stops working.
Note: You will need access to the social media account you want to reconnect. Make sure you are logged into that account before you start.

Why Channels Get Disconnected
Social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and others regularly expire the permissions they give to third-party tools like Nuelink. When this happens, your channel may show a warning or stop publishing posts. Reconnecting takes less than a minute and restores full access.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Log in to your Nuelink account and go to Channels in the left sidebar.

- Find the channel that needs to be refreshed. It will often show a warning icon like "Inactive."

- Click the Refresh button (or the " How to fix it”) next to that channel.
- Make sure you are logged into the account you want to reconnect in another tab for Nuelink to recognize it.

- Grant all the requested permissions. This step is important. Skipping or denying any permission can cause the reconnection to fail.

- Once you approve, you will be taken back to Nuelink automatically. Your channel should now show as Connected with a green status indicator.

You're all set! Your channel is reconnected, and your scheduled posts will continue publishing as normal.
FAQs
Why does my channel keep getting disconnected?
This usually happens because social media platforms reset their permissions every few weeks or months. It is a security measure on their end, not a bug in Nuelink. Simply reconnect when it happens, and everything will work again.
Will my scheduled posts be lost when a channel disconnects?
No. Your scheduled posts are saved in Nuelink and will not be deleted. They will skip publishing, but you can post again once you reconnect your channel.
Do I need to reconnect all my channels at the same time?
No. You only need to reconnect the specific channel that shows as disconnected. Your other channels are not affected.
I reconnected my channel,l but it still shows as disconnected. What should I do?
Try logging out of the social media platform in your browser, then log back in and reconnect again. Also, check that you are connecting to the correct account (the same one that was originally linked to Nuelink).
Troubleshooting
The reconnect button is not visible on my channel.
Try refreshing the Nuelink page. If the button still does not appear, contact the Nuelink Support.
I get an error after approving permissions on the social platform.
This can happen if you are connected to a slow internet connection or if the authorization timed out. Go back to Channels in Nuelink and try the reconnect process again from the beginning.
My channel reconnects successfully, but posts still fail to publish.
Check that the social media account you reconnected has the correct permissions (e.g., for Facebook, make sure your Page is selected and not just your personal profile). If posts continue to fail, reach out to Nuelink support with the error message shown.
I connected the wrong account by mistake.
Go to Channels, disconnect the wrong account, then click Add Channel to connect the correct one.
