Queue FAQs
How do queue limits and collection limits work?
Two things count: the number of posts in a given queue and the total number of posts across your plan. When your queue is full, new automation items and manual posts won't be accepted until existing posts publish, get deleted, or move to drafts. Bulk uploads and daily caps work on top of this. For example, if your plan allows 100 queued posts and you already have 100 scheduled, you'll need some posts to publish, or you can delete drafts, before adding more.
What do the different queue statuses mean?
Scheduled means the post is set to publish at its time slot. Published means it already went out. Skipped means the post didn't go live, usually because the queue was paused or the channel was disconnected at the scheduled time. Failed means the network received the post but rejected it. Open the post to see the exact reason and retry.
Can I reorder posts in my queue?
Yes. Drag a post up or down the list to change its publishing order, or click Shuffle to randomize the queue. For a specific post, open it and change the scheduled time to move it anywhere you want.
What happens when I pause my queue?
Pausing stops all time slots from firing until you resume. Posts stay in the queue and don't get lost. Any time slot that passed during the pause will be skipped, not delayed. When you resume, publishing continues with the next upcoming time slot.
How do I tell whether a post is waiting, skipped, or failed?
Open the Queue tab and look at each post's status chip. Scheduled and Waiting both mean the post is lined up and ready. Skipped and Failed mean the post didn't publish. Click any skipped or failed post to see the exact reason and take action.
My queue is full, but I don't see 100 posts.
Queue limits usually apply across the whole brand, not per collection. Check the All Posts view at the brand level to see every scheduled post. You may also have drafts or recycled items counted toward the limit.
A post shows as "Skipped" even though my queue wasn't paused.
The channel may have been disconnected at the post's time slot. Go to Channels, reconnect the account, then open the skipped post and reschedule it.
I shuffled the queue and want to undo it.
Shuffle can't be undone automatically, but you can manually drag posts back into the order you want. For automations, the next sync will add items in the order they come from the source.
My usage meter says I'm close to the limit, but I want to upload more.
Either upgrade your plan, or free up space by letting scheduled posts publish, deleting drafts, or removing recycled items you no longer need.
