In this guide, we will show you how to set up a follow-up comment for a collection on Nuelink. Ensure you are signed into your Nuelink account and have created at least 1 collection.


Once the automation is set up, a follow-up comment will be added automatically whenever a new post is created.

What is a Collection?

Collections are like folders for organizing social media content based on themes or topics. Each collection has its channels and posting schedule. When you add a post to a collection, it will be automatically scheduled to be posted on specific channels at set times. This helps save time by organizing posts and removes the need to manually decide when and where to share each post


What is a follow-up Comment Automation?

Automating follow-up comments involves creating and posting replies based on set criteria like a period or a certain amount of likes or comments on a social media post. It is often used in social media, customer service, and marketing to engage with users or share information automatically.

Nuelink allows you to add your Automation to an existing collection or create a new collection for your automations, choose the method that suits you best, to create a collection:

How to set up a follow-up comment for a collection?

  1. Click “Automations”, then “Add Automation”

  1. Click “Social,” then scroll to “follow-up Comment” or search “follow-up Comment” and Click “Add Automation”

  1. Select your collection

  1. Add your follow-up Comment

On Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter you can also add an image to your comment. 

  1. Enhance your comment with Nuelink AI Assistant, and also add hashtags and shortcodes.

  1. Set your criteria for adding your follow-up comment to your post:

    Delay: Type minutes to add your comment.

Likes: Enter the total number of likes to post your comment. 

Comments: Input the total number of comments to post your comment.

  1. Finish y clicking on “Add Comment Automation”

  1. Here’s how your comment automation looks when activated for a collection.

    After setting up your automation, the comment will be added automatically to any new post in this collection.

What will happen when I add a follow-up comment automation?

By adding an automated follow-up comment feature to your collections, you can automatically include a comment on the collection posts.


What are the supported social media channels for comments?

follow-up comments are supported by Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Telegram.


What if I have a follow-up comment added to the post?

If you set up a follow-up comment in the post, it will replace the default comment set up in the automation.


Can I add an image with the comment?

You can include image(s) in your automated responses for your Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter posts.


What platform supports the image in the comment? 

The feature to include images in replies is available on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.


How does the Queue of the Collection Work? 

The posts made or created in a collection are organized following one of three scheduling queue orders:

First In, First Out publishes posts chronologically, starting with the oldest. 

Last In, First Out does the same, but starting with the newest. 

Random shares posts in a random order.


What are the types of posts I can add to a collection? 

Nuelink makes it easy to create and schedule all types of content, such as text, images, carousels, short and long videos, tweets, stories, and polls. Make sure your posts meet the requirements of your selected social media platforms.


Can I create a one-off post?

Yes, while all posts must be created in a collection. You can set your post to “Schedule Once” and it will be posted once at a date and time of your choice, skipping your collection queue settings. You can also schedule your posts to Post Now and they will be published immediately without following your queue schedule.


Can I bulk-upload posts in a collection?

Certainly, we automatically place your Bulk-imported posts into a collection to help you keep your posts organized. Learn how to bulk import here.


Can I change the time of posting for a post that is already in the Queue?

Luckily, you can. Click on Edit at the bottom of the post then click on Schedule. You can then select an exact date for your post.


Can I set automation to collections?

Yes, we strongly suggest setting automations for your collections to fully leverage their potential.


Can I copy a post to other collections?

Luckily, you can either move your post to another collection by clicking ‘Move’ under the post or you can click ‘Duplicate’ and select a collection to copy your post into.


How can I best use the Evergreen queue feature?

It's good to repost and reshare content on social media after a while. Some platforms don't like frequent reposting, so wait at least 4 weeks. You can change this if you want. We highly recommend that you stick to the 4-week timeframe for best results, but you can make it 1 week if you prefer. We might add an option to "re-add immediately", but we're still thinking about it.


Can I add multiple automations to the collection?

Yes, you can add multiple automations into the same collection, just make sure to select the same collection when you are activating your automations.


Can I post to different channels than the ones specified in the collection?

You can either add/remove your social channels from your collections settings. Or, you can edit in/out social channels manually for individual posts by clicking on ‘Edit’ under your post, then edit your social channels on the post Editor.
