How to Add an Automation to a Collection

With Nuelink, you can easily add posts from different sources to a collection and schedule them to be shared with your social media followers. This simplifies the process of managing your social media content, making it more convenient for you.

What is a Collection?
Collections are like folders for organizing social media content based on themes or topics. Each collection has its channels and posting schedule. When you add a post to a collection, it will be automatically scheduled to be posted on specific channels at set times. This helps save time by organizing posts and removes the need to manually decide when and where to share each post
What’s an Automation?
Automation on Nuelink is a way to automatically add content to your collections and schedule them to be posted on your social media channels. Automations can be used to auto-post your blog articles, store products, YouTube videos, and podcast episodes to a collection, auto-retweet, or add follow-up comments, and more.
Nuelink allows you to add your Automation to an existing collection or create a new collection for your automations, choose the method that suits you best, to create a collection:
Create a collection for Automation:
- Click “Automations,” then click “Add Automation”
- Choose an Automation, and click “Add Automation” (e.g. Ghost)
- Paste your Blog link to import your articles from, pick a post type, and activate AI-generated captions for your automated posts.
- Keep the default option “Create a new collection for this automation” turned on, and Nuelink will create a collection for your Automation, in the next steps you will be asked to modify your collections settings.
- Finish setting up your Automation settings and click “Add automation” to confirm.
- Now, you will be directed to your new collection where you can customize your collection’s settings. Change the name of your automation collection.
- Add your social media channels, to automatically publish your imported content. Here the blog posts will be posted to the following selected socials automatically.
- Set up a few posting times, your imported content will be published one by one at the chosen publishing time slots. Set a time and a date, then click “Add” to confirm. Finish setting up your Collection. Learn more about collections settings here. Then click “Save”, you can also duplicate or move the collection.
- You will find your Collection ready and your automated posts imported successfully into your collection.
Add automation to an existing collection:
- Click “Automations,” then click “Add Automation”
- Choose an Automation, and click “Add Automation” In this example we will create an Etsy automation to import all the products or blogs from Etsy and automatically turn them into social media posts
- Paste your Etsy store link to import your content from, pick a post type, and activate AI-generated captions for your automated posts.
- Turn off “Create a new collection for this automation” and select a premade collection of yours.
- Finish setting up your Automation settings and click “Add automation” to confirm.
- You will find your Automation Activated in your collection and your posts imported into your collection successfully.
- Finally, your posts will be scheduled according to the times you previously set up in your collection's settings and will be posted to the social media accounts linked to the same collection.

How does the Queue of the Collection Work?
The posts made or created in a collection are organized following one of three scheduling queue orders:
First In, First Out publishes posts chronologically, starting with the oldest.
Last In, First Out does the same, but starting with the newest.
Random shares posts in a random order.

Podcast Automations: Auto-Import your podcast episodes from Anchor (Spotify), Captivate, SoundCloud, Transistor, and YouTube.
Cross-posting Automations: Automatically post your posts across all social media accounts from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
Auto-retweet Automation: Auto-retweet your Twitter tweets after some time.
Follow-up comment Automation: Auto adds comments to your posts after some time on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, and Telegram.
Can I delete an Automation?
Yes, go to Automation> click on the trash icon at the far right side of your automation.
What happens when I delete an automation from a collection?
The post will no longer be imported automatically from your blog or podcast links.
What happens when I delete a collection that is linked to an automation?
When you delete a collection linked to an automation, you will lose all the imported posts of that collection.
What happens when I delete an automation that is linked to an automation?
When you delete an automation from a collection, your new products and articles will no longer be imported into that particular collection. However, the old posts that were imported before disconnecting the automation will remain scheduled in your collection.
Can I add multiple automations to the same collection?
Yes, on Nuelink you can easily link multiple automations to the same collection, just make sure to select the same collection when you are setting up your automations.
What are the types of posts I can add to a collection?
Nuelink makes it easy to create and schedule all types of content, such as text, images, carousels, short and long videos, tweets, stories, and polls. Make sure your posts meet the requirements of your selected social media platforms.
Can I create a one-off post?
Yes, while all posts must be created in a collection. You can set your post to “Schedule Once” and it will be posted once at a date and time of your choice, skipping your collection queue settings. You can also schedule your posts to Post Now and they will be published immediately without following your queue schedule.
Can I bulk-upload posts in a collection?
Certainly, we automatically place your Bulk-imported posts into a collection to help you keep your posts organized. Learn how to bulk import here.
Can I change the time of posting for a post that is already in the Queue?
Luckily, you can. Click on Edit at the bottom of the post then click on Schedule. You can then select an exact date for your post.
