How to Set Up Wix Automation to Auto-Post to your Social Media
Connect your Wix blog to Nuelink and let it share your articles to social media for you. Once it is set up, Nuelink checks your blog every hour and turns new posts into ready-to-share content automatically.
Note: To follow this guide, you'll need a Nuelink account, a published Wix blog, and at least one social channel connected in Nuelink.

Step-by-Step Guide

Go to Automations in the top navigation and search for Wix.

Click Create Automation on the Wix card to open the setup window.

Copy your Wix website link and paste it into the website field.

Set up your Caption. Turn on AI captions to let Nuelink write a caption for each article from a prompt you give it. You can edit the sample prompt to match your tone, length, and language.

Set the Post title if you want one. This is optional and is used for YouTube, Pinterest, and Facebook videos. You can use variables like {{title}}.

Toggle Auto thread long captions on if you want long captions split into a thread. This works on Threads, X, Bluesky, and Pinterest.

Under Choose post format, pick Link Post or Image Post. A Link Post shares the article as a link. An Image Post shares each article as an image.

Decide which articles to bring in. Keep Import existing Wix posts as well as the future ones to include past articles. Turn it off to share only new articles going forward. Set the Number of Posts to Import. Enter any value between 1 and 100.

Toggle Mark the posts as draft for later review if you want to check each post before it goes out. Leave it off to let posts publish on their own.

Toggle Publish Immediately on to publish the newest article right away. Nuelink checks hourly, publishes the latest post, and queues the rest.

Turn on Send a follow-up comment if you want Nuelink to add a comment after each post, such as a link to the full blog. Write your comment, then set a Condition to choose when it is added, for example, after a delay by a set number of minutes.

Choose your collection. Keep Create a new collection for this automation on to group these posts together, or turn it off to add them to an existing collection.

Open Advanced Options for extra controls. Turn on Auto-clean links to strip tracking parameters from your links. Turn on Use a custom user agent if your blog blocks default crawlers.
- Click Add Wix Automation to save and start it.
That's it, you're all set! Nuelink will now check your Wix blog every hour and share your articles for you, both the ones you have already published and any new ones you post in the future.
Set Up the Collection
Right after you add the automation, Nuelink takes you to your new collection's Settings page. This is where you choose which channels the articles post to and set your schedule. Your automation cannot publish until the collection has at least one channel and one posting time, so this part is important.

Set your Collection Name and pick a Color code to tag it for easy recognition.

Choose your Default Social Channels. Click the box and select where posts should go. You need at least one channel to be able to post.

Set your Weekly Schedule. Pick your days in Select Days, choose a time in Pick Time, then click Add slots. Each slot shows up in the weekly grid below. Posts fill the next open slot. Check the time zone below the schedule grid. If it is wrong, click Change to fix it.

Turn on Recycle published posts (evergreen) if you want Nuelink to repost content automatically after a cooldown. Leave it off to post each item only once.

Choose your Queue Behavior. Pick Top of the queue to post sooner, Bottom of the queue to post later, or Random to shuffle posts into the schedule.

Click Advanced Options for extra controls. Turn on Pause posting from this collection to stop publishing without deleting posts. Turn on Timeframe limit to set a start and end date for when the collection is active.

Click Save Changes at the top of the page to apply everything.
That's it, you're all set! Nuelink will check your Wix blog every hour and share your articles on the channels and schedule you chose, both the ones you have already published and any new ones you post in the future.

Troubleshooting
Issue: My articles are not being imported. Fix: Make sure your Wix blog is published and public. If it blocks automated visitors, open Advanced Options and turn on Use a custom user agent, then save the automation again.
Issue: All my old posts published at the same time. Fix: Turn on Publish Immediately so only the newest article is published right away and the rest are queued. If you want full control, turn on Mark the posts as draft for later review so nothing goes out until you approve it.
Issue: My captions look empty or broken. Fix: Check that your AI caption prompt is filled in correctly. Then click Add Fallback Caption and write a backup caption so posts always have something to show if the AI caption cannot be created.
Issue: My links have long tracking codes at the end. Fix: Open Advanced Options and turn on Auto-clean links. This removes UTM and tracking parameters from the {{link}} shortcode before posting.
