How to Setup LinkedIn Crossposting
LinkedIn Crossposting lets you automatically share posts from your LinkedIn Page to your other connected social media channels. Once the automation is active, you can continue posting normally from the LinkedIn mobile app or the LinkedIn desktop website, and Nuelink will automatically detect and crosspost your new posts based on the settings you choose.
Note: Before creating this automation, connect your LinkedIn Page and all destination social media channels from Social Channels in Nuelink.
Important: LinkedIn Crossposting only supports LinkedIn Pages. Personal LinkedIn profiles cannot be used with this automation. Nuelink checks your connected LinkedIn Page every 30 minutes and only crossposts new posts published after the automation is created. Posts published using Create Post in Nuelink do not trigger this automation.

What Is LinkedIn Crossposting?
LinkedIn Crossposting automatically copies posts from your LinkedIn Page and publishes them to your connected social media accounts. This lets you continue publishing directly on LinkedIn while keeping your other social media channels updated automatically.
You can choose where your posts are shared, customize the caption, automatically create threads from long captions, add follow-up comments, and filter posts by hashtag. This gives you full control over what gets crossposted and how it appears on each platform.
For example, your company can publish a product announcement on its LinkedIn Page using the LinkedIn mobile app. Nuelink detects the new post, applies your automation settings, and automatically shares it to your selected social media channels without any additional work.

Step-by-Step Guide
- Go to Automations and open the Crosspost category. Find LinkedIn Crossposting and click Create Automation to open the setup window.

- Choose the LinkedIn Page you want Nuelink to monitor from the Select LinkedIn to Post From dropdown. Only connected LinkedIn Pages can be selected. Nuelink will check this Page every 30 minutes for new posts that match your automation settings.

- Enable Post immediately to specific channels if you want matching LinkedIn posts to be published as soon as they are detected. Then select the connected social media channels where you want the posts to be shared.

- Enable Add posts to a Collection to be crossposted following its schedule if you want imported posts to follow a Collection schedule instead of being published immediately. Nuelink will add matching posts to the selected Collection, and the Collection schedule will determine when they are published.

- Use the Post title field to customize the caption that will be published on your destination channels. You can combine your own text with variables like {caption} to include the original LinkedIn caption automatically.

- Enable Auto thread long captions if you want long captions to be automatically split into threaded posts on supported social media platforms. This helps keep longer posts easy to read while preserving the original content.

- Enable Send a follow-up comment if you'd like Nuelink to automatically publish a comment after the post goes live. Enter the comment you want to publish, then choose when it should be posted using the Condition and After delay settings. This is useful for sharing links, additional resources, or calls to action separately from the main post.

- Select the LinkedIn post types you want the automation to crosspost. You can enable any combination of the following:
- Text-only posts
- Text posts
- Single image posts
- Carousel posts
- Video posts
Only the selected post types will trigger the automation.

- Enable only crossposting when there's a specific hashtag in the caption if you only want certain LinkedIn posts to be shared. Enter the hashtag in the field provided, and only posts containing that hashtag will be crossposted.

- After reviewing your settings, click Add LinkedIn Crossposting Automation to save everything. Nuelink will begin monitoring your LinkedIn Page every 30 minutes for new matching posts.

Collections & Scheduling
If you enable immediate publishing, Nuelink publishes each matching LinkedIn post to your selected social media channels shortly after it detects the post.
If you choose to use a Collection instead, Nuelink imports matching posts into the selected Collection. The Collection's posting schedule determines exactly when each post is published, giving you more control over your content calendar.
What Happens After Setup
Imagine your company publishes a new product update using the LinkedIn mobile app or the LinkedIn desktop website. Within about 30 minutes, Nuelink checks your connected LinkedIn Page and detects the new post.
If the post matches your automation settings, Nuelink prepares it using your caption template and publishes it to each destination channel you selected. If you've enabled automatic threading, long captions are split into threads on supported platforms.
If you've chosen to use a Collection, the post is added to the selected Collection and waits until the next scheduled publishing time before it goes live.
If you've enabled follow-up comments, Nuelink automatically publishes your comment after the delay you selected. If you've added a hashtag filter, only posts containing that hashtag will be imported and crossposted.
Posts published through Create Post in Nuelink do not trigger the LinkedIn Crossposting automation. If you want to publish the same content from Nuelink to multiple social media platforms, simply use Create Post and select all of the destination channels you want to publish to.

FAQs & Troubleshooting

Where should I publish my LinkedIn posts?
Publish your posts directly from the LinkedIn mobile app or the LinkedIn desktop website. Once published, Nuelink will automatically detect and crosspost them according to your automation settings.
Can posts published through Nuelink trigger the automation?
No. Posts published using Create Post in Nuelink are not detected by the LinkedIn Crossposting automation. If you want to publish the same content from Nuelink to multiple social media platforms, use Create Post and select all of the social channels you want to publish to.
Can I choose which social networks receive my posts?
Yes. You can select exactly which connected social media channels should receive your LinkedIn posts.
Can I customize the caption?
Yes. You can customize the caption using your own text and variables such as {caption} to include the original LinkedIn caption automatically.
What happens if I use a Collection?

Yes. Enable the follow-up comment option, enter your comment, and choose when Nuelink should publish it after the main post.
Can I crosspost only certain LinkedIn posts?
Yes. You can choose which LinkedIn post types to crosspost and optionally require a specific hashtag before the automation runs.
Why wasn't my LinkedIn post crossposted?
Check a few things. Make sure the automation is enabled, your LinkedIn Page is connected, the post type is selected in your automation settings, and the post matches any hashtag filter you've configured. Also remember that Nuelink only checks for new posts every 30 minutes, so there may be a short delay before your content is detected.
Can I edit the automation later?
Yes. You can return to Automations at any time to update your destination channels, caption template, filters, follow-up comments, or other settings.
