How to Set Up Twitter Crossposting on Nuelink
This guide shows you how to automatically share your X (Twitter) posts to your other social media channels using Nuelink. Once it's set up, every new tweet can be reposted to platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Pinterest, and more, without any extra work from you.
Note: To follow this guide, you'll need a Nuelink account with your X (Twitter) account connected, plus at least one other social channel where you want your posts to go.

Step-by-Step Guide
- Go to Automations in the left sidebar. Click Create Automation in the corner.

- Find X / Twitter Crossposting in the list and click Add Automation next to it.

- Under Select X to Post From, choose the X (Twitter) account you want to pull posts from.

- Choose where your posts should go. You can turn on Post immediately to specific channels and pick the exact channels you want. Each channel appears as a small tag once selected.

- If you'd rather your posts follow a set schedule, turn on Add posts to a collection to be crossposted following its schedule and pick a collection from the dropdown. A collection lets you control the days and times your posts go out.

- (Optional) Add a Post title. This is used on Pinterest, YouTube, and Facebook videos. You can leave the default {{caption}} to reuse your tweet's text.

- (Optional) Turn on Auto thread long captions. If a tweet is too long for a platform's character limit, Nuelink automatically splits it into a thread on channels that support threads.

- (Optional) Turn on Send a follow-up comment to automatically add a comment under each crossposted post. Type your comment, then use the Condition setting to choose how long Nuelink should wait after publishing before adding it (for example, After a delay of 60 minutes).

- Choose which post types to crosspost under What post types would you like to crosspost? You can pick all posts, or turn on only the types you want: text posts, single image posts, carousel posts, or video posts.

- (Optional) Turn on Only crosspost when there's a specific hashtag in the caption and enter a hashtag. Only tweets that include that hashtag will be crossposted.

- Click Add X / Twitter Crossposting Automation to finish.

That's it, you're ready to go! Nuelink checks your X (Twitter) account every 30 minutes for new posts and crossposts them based on your settings.

FAQs
How often does Nuelink check for new tweets?
Every 30 minutes. When it finds a new post that matches your settings, it crossposts it automatically.
Can I post to my channels right away and also add posts to a schedule?
Yes. You can turn on Post immediately to specific channels and Add posts to a collection at the same time. Immediate posting sends your tweet out as soon as it's found, while a collection sends it out based on the collection's schedule.
What happens to a really long tweet on a platform with a character limit?
If you turn on Auto thread long captions, Nuelink automatically breaks the long caption into a thread on channels that support threads, so nothing gets cut off.
Can I crosspost only certain kinds of tweets?
Yes. Use the post types section to choose which formats get crossposted (text, single image, carousel, or video). You can also turn on the hashtag filter so only tweets with a specific hashtag are shared.
Will old tweets get crossposted, or only new ones?
Crossposting applies to new posts going forward. Nuelink starts watching your account once the automation is active.
Troubleshooting
My tweets aren't showing up on my other channels.
Double-check that you selected destination channels under Post immediately to specific channels or chose a collection. Also make sure your tweet matches your filters; if you set a hashtag filter or limited the post types, only matching tweets are crossposted.
My new tweet hasn't crossposted yet.
Nuelink checks every 30 minutes, so there can be a short delay. Wait a little and check again before making changes.
The hashtag filter is blocking everything.
Make sure the hashtag in your automation exactly matches the one you use in your tweets. If you don't need the filter, turn off Only crosspost when there's a specific hashtag in the caption so all posts are eligible.
My source X account isn't in the dropdown.
The X (Twitter) account must be connected to Nuelink first. Go to Channels, connect the account, then return to the automation, and it will appear in the Select X to Post From list.
