The Setting Options of a Collection

In Nuelink, all of your posts are saved in Collections. Individual posts, bulk upload posts, and automated posts are all automatically saved in collections to help you stay organized and manage your content easily.

Make sure you are logged into your Nuelink account and have at least created one collection. Also, make sure your social channels are connected.

What is a Collection?

Collections act like folders to organize your social media posts for easy access. First, you choose your social media channels and set various publishing times. Then, simply add your content to the collections, and it will be placed in the queue according to the times you've set, and shared on the social channels you've selected.

Why Create a Collection?

Nuelink's collection is your time-saving toolkit. It simplifies post-management for entrepreneurs, content creators, and social media managers. Instead of changing the time for each post individually, you can update the time in the collection, and it will apply to all posts. Plus, when you add posts to a collection, they will automatically be scheduled for the next available time slot and shared on the default social channels.

📕 Nuelink provides settings for all collections. These settings control how often and when your posts in a collection will be shared on your social media. You can always change these options later in the collection's settings.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to the Collections tab in the left sidebar and click the collection you want to edit.

  1. Click Settings at the top right of the collection page.

  1. Update the Collection Name and Color Code. Pick a name that clearly describes the type of posts inside, and choose a color to help you spot the collection in your Queue, especially in Calendar view.

  1. Change your Social Channels. Add or remove the accounts where posts in this collection should be published. You can select one channel or several.

Note: Match your channel choice to the type of content in the collection. For example, Carousels work on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, while Text posts are supported on Facebook, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn.

  1. Adjust your Posting Times. Choose the days you want posts to go out, pick a time, and click Add. You can add up to 5 time slots per day.

  1. Turn on Recycle (Evergreen) if you want Nuelink to automatically re-share published posts after a cooldown. Once a post goes out, Nuelink waits the cooldown length you set, then queues it again. This is great for evergreen tips, quotes, how-tos, or product promos you want to keep in rotation.

Tip: Set a cooldown long enough to keep content feeling fresh. For most brands, a few weeks works well.

  1. Choose your Queue Behavior. This controls where new posts land in the queue when you add them to the collection:
    • Top of the queue: Post sooner (first in, first out).
    • Bottom of the queue: Post later (first in, last out).
    • Random: Posts shuffle into the schedule.

  1. Open Advanced Options to fine-tune publishing:
    • Pause posting from this collection: Stops publishing all posts in this collection without deleting them. Useful when you're on vacation, reviewing content, or making big changes to your plan.
    • Timeframe limit: Sets a start and end date to limit when this collection is active. Great for seasonal campaigns, product launches, or limited-time promos.

  1. If you need to delete the collection, scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom and click Delete. A confirmation prompt will appear.

Warning: Deleting a collection permanently removes it along with every post inside it. This action cannot be undone. If you just want to stop publishing temporarily, use Pause Posting instead.

  1. Click Save Changes to apply your updates.

That's it! Your collection is now tuned exactly the way you want.

FAQs

Do I have to save after every change, or does Nuelink auto-save?

Changes are not auto-saved. Always click Save Changes before leaving the settings panel, or your updates will be lost.

What's the difference between pausing and deleting a collection?

Pause Posting stops publishing but keeps all your posts safe. Delete permanently removes the collection and everything inside it. If you're not sure, pause first.

Can I turn on Recycle and Timeframe Limit at the same time?

Yes. Recycle will keep reposting your content, but only during the timeframe you've set. Once the end date passes, posts will stop publishing even if the cooldown cycle is still active.

Will changing posting times affect posts that are already scheduled?

Yes. When you update posting times, Nuelink automatically reschedules upcoming posts to match the new slots.

What happens to recycled posts if I delete them from the collection?

Deleted posts stop being recycled. Only posts that remain in the collection will be republished after the cooldown.

What happens if I remove a social channel from a collection?

Scheduled posts to that channel will stop publishing to it. New posts created in the collection won't include that channel by default, but you can still add it manually to individual posts.

Can I have different posting times for different channels in the same collection?

No. All channels in a collection follow the same posting schedule. If you need different schedules, create separate collections.

What does "Top of the queue" do differently from "Random"?

Top of the queue makes every new post jump to the front, so new posts always go out first. Random shuffles each new post into a random spot in the schedule, so there's no fixed order.

Can I recover a deleted collection?

No. Deleting a collection is permanent and cannot be undone. Consider using Pause Posting instead if you only want to temporarily stop the collection.

Troubleshooting

I updated my settings, but the changes didn't stick.

Make sure you clicked Save Changes before leaving the settings panel. Nuelink doesn't auto-save, so unsaved edits are discarded.

Recycle is on, but my posts aren't being reshared.

Check that the collection isn't paused and that your posts are still inside it. Confirm the cooldown period has passed and that your connected channels haven't expired. Reconnect them from the Channels page if needed.

My timeframe ended, but posts are still sitting in the queue.

Posts stay in the queue but won't publish outside the active timeframe. Extend the end date or turn off Timeframe Limit to resume publishing.

The Save Changes button is grayed out.

You likely haven't made any changes yet, or a required field is empty. Check that you have at least one Social Channel selected and at least one Posting Time set.

My collection's color isn't showing up in Calendar view.

Refresh the page after saving. If the color still doesn't appear, open settings, reselect the color, and click Save Changes again.

I accidentally clicked Delete in the Danger Zone.

If you have already confirmed the deletion, the collection is gone permanently and cannot be recovered. You'll need to recreate it from scratch. To avoid this next time, use Pause Posting.

A connected channel shows up in the picker, but won't let me select it.

The channel may be disconnected or have expired permissions. Go to Channels, reconnect the account, and try again.

I can't find the Recycle or Queue Behavior options.

These live inside the collection's settings, not on the main Collections page. Click your collection first, then click Settings at the top right to see all options.
