About LinkedIn Document Posts
What is a Document (PDF) Post?
A LinkedIn document post lets you share a PDF or PowerPoint file as a swipeable carousel in the feed. Each page of the document appears as a single "slide" that viewers can flip through. LinkedIn document carousels support up to 10 pages and adjust to different sizes for a clean, polished look.
Why Create a LinkedIn Document Carousel Post?
Document carousels are one of the most engaging formats on LinkedIn. They're perfect for sharing step-by-step guides, statistics, infographics, mini case studies, and educational content your audience will want to save and revisit. These posts are powerful for driving engagement, boosting brand awareness, and building authority on the platform.
LinkedIn Document Post Requirements
Before you upload, make sure your file meets LinkedIn's requirements:
| Requirement | Details |
| Supported on | LinkedIn Profiles and LinkedIn Company Pages |
| Maximum pages | 10 pages per document |
| File format | |
| Maximum file size | 100 MB |
| Recommended page size | 1080 x 1350 px (portrait) or 1200 x 1200 px (square) |
⚠️ Important: Document posts are exclusive to LinkedIn. If you select another platform in the same post, the document upload won't work for that channel.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Open the Post Creator
Go to your Nuelink account and click Create Post in the top-left of the navigation bar (you'll also find this button at the top of your Queue and inside any Collection). Then select Post from the top bar.

2. Select Your Collection
Choose the Collection where you'd like to add your document post.
ℹ️ What's a Collection? A Collection is like a folder for your social media posts. It helps you organize and schedule content by theme or campaign, with its own default channels and posting time slots. Learn more about Collections here.

3. Select Your LinkedIn Channel
Pick the LinkedIn Profile or LinkedIn Company Page you want to post to. If you've already added these channels to your Collection, they'll be selected automatically.
💡 Tip: We highly recommend adding your channels to your Collection so you don't have to pick them every time.
⚠️ Document uploads only work for LinkedIn Profiles and LinkedIn Company Pages, not for other platforms.

Once your document is uploaded, you can:
- Preview how the carousel will look in the Post Preview on the right.

FAQs
What's the maximum number of pages in a LinkedIn document post?
LinkedIn allows up to 10 pages per document, which displays as a 10-slide carousel.
Can I post a document carousel to other platforms like Instagram or Facebook?
No. LinkedIn document posts are exclusive to LinkedIn Profiles and Company Pages. For Instagram carousels, you'd upload individual images instead.
Can I bulk-upload document carousels in Nuelink?
Yes! Nuelink supports bulk uploading of multi-image, video, and document content. Learn how to bulk-upload posts here.
Can I change the time of a post that's already in my Queue?
Yes. Open your Queue, click Edit on the post, then click Schedule to pick a new date and time.
What file formats does LinkedIn support for document posts?
LinkedIn supports PDF files. If your content is in PowerPoint or another format, convert it to PDF before uploading.
Troubleshooting
My LinkedIn document post didn't publish after scheduling.
Publishing failures are usually caused by a file that exceeds LinkedIn's limits (more than 10 pages or over 100 MB) or a format issue. Double-check your file against the requirements, then try rescheduling. If you're still stuck, contact Nuelink support.
I can't see the "Add a Document" option.
Make sure you've selected a LinkedIn Profile or LinkedIn Company Page as your channel. The document upload option only appears when LinkedIn is the only platform selected; it won't show up if you've also picked Instagram, Facebook, or another channel.
My LinkedIn account shows a "restricted" error when posting.
LinkedIn may have temporarily restricted your account. Common reasons include unusual activity, profile name violations, or compromised accounts. Check LinkedIn's restriction help page for details, then reconnect your account in Nuelink once the restriction is lifted.
My document looks blurry or low-quality in the preview.
Export your PDF at a higher resolution before uploading. We recommend a page size of 1080 x 1350 px (portrait) or 1200 x 1200 px (square) for the sharpest results.
