How to Set Up Threads Cross-Posting on Nuelink

Post once on Threads and share it everywhere. This guide shows you how to set up Threads cross-posting in Nuelink, so anything you post on Threads is automatically shared to your other social accounts. Nuelink checks your Threads account every 30 minutes for new posts.

Note: To follow this guide, you'll need a Nuelink account, your Threads account connected to Nuelink, and the other social accounts you want to post to also connected. You can link accounts anytime in the Connect Channels section.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to Automations in the left sidebar and click Add Automation.

  1. Go to the Cross-Posting section and click Add Automation below the Threads icon. The setup window opens.

  1. Under Select Threads Account to Post From, choose the Threads account you want to auto-share content from.

  1. Select the social accounts you want the content of Threads to be shared on.

  1. Choose how your posts go out:
    • Keep this option turned off to Post immediately to the channels you selected previously.
    • Or turn on Add posts to a collection to be crossposted following its schedule to post on your collection's schedule instead of right away.

  1. Set the Post title. This is optional and is used on Pinterest, YouTube, and Facebook videos.

  1. (Optional) Turn on Auto thread long captions to break long captions into a thread on platforms that support it.

  1. (Optional) Turn on Send a follow-up comment to add a comment after each post. Write your comment (you can use {{title}}, {{caption}}, or NueAI), then set the Condition, such as after a delay and the number of minutes to wait.

  1. Under What post types would you like to cross-post?, choose what to share. Turn on Cross-post all posts, or pick specific types: Cross-post text posts, Cross-post single image posts, Cross-post carousel posts, or Cross-post video posts.

  1. (Optional) Turn on Only crosspost when there's a specific hashtag in the caption, then enter the hashtag. Only Threads posts with that hashtag will be shared.

  1. Click Add Threads Crossposting Automation to save.

You're all set! From now on, every time you post on Threads using the Threads app, it will be shared to your other channels, usually within 30 minutes.

FAQs

How soon will my Threads post be cross-posted?

Nuelink checks your Threads account every 30 minutes, so new posts are usually shared within half an hour.

Does this work for posts I schedule inside Nuelink?

This automation shares posts you publish outside Nuelink, using the Threads app itself. Once your account is connected, you can still schedule and publish directly through Nuelink separately.

Which content types can I cross-post?

Text posts, single image posts, carousel posts, and video posts. You can turn on all of them, or pick only the types you want. Keep in mind that not every platform supports every type.

Will Nuelink post anything on my Threads account?

No. Nuelink will not publish anything on your Threads account without your explicit permission. This automation only reads your Threads posts to share them elsewhere.

Can I share only certain posts?

Yes. Turn on Only crosspost when there's a specific hashtag in the caption and enter a hashtag. Only Threads posts with that hashtag will be shared.

Troubleshooting

My Threads post didn't cross-post.

Make sure the post was published outside Nuelink, using the Threads app, and give it up to 30 minutes. Also check that the post type is turned on under What post types would you like to crosspost? And that the destination platform supports it.

The post shared to some channels but not others.

This usually comes down to platform compatibility. A content type that one platform supports may not be allowed on another. Check that the missing channel supports the kind of post you shared.

A destination account isn't available to select.

The account may not be connected yet. Go to Connect Channels, link the account, then set up the automation again.

My hashtag filter is blocking everything.

Check the hashtag in your filter. Only posts that include that exact hashtag will cross-post. Remove or adjust it if you want more posts to share.
