What is a Collection?
Collections are like separate folders for different types of social media content. You can organize social media posts in each collection based on theme, category, or topic. Each Collection has its social media channels and specific weekly posting times.
Put simply, each time you create or add a post to a collection. It will automatically be in line to be posted at the times and social media channels that you set up in the collection.
Collections help you save time by organizing your posts, and you don't have to select where or when to share each time you make a new post. Set it once and forget it!
Why Create a Collection?
Nuelink's collection is your time-saving toolkit. It simplifies post-management for entrepreneurs, content creators, and social media managers. Instead of changing the time for each post individually, you can update the time in the collection, and it will apply to all posts. Plus, when you add posts to a collection, they will automatically be scheduled for the next available time slot and shared on the default social channels.
In this guide we will show you 3 ways to add content to your collection:
1. General posts (manually one by one)
2. Bulk imports (using a spreadsheet)
3. Automated posts (automatically added from blogs, online stores, etc.)
How to Add Posts to a Collection?
In this guide, we will be creating a carousel post as an example. But it’s the same process for all types of social media content on Nuelink. Learn how to create posts on Nuelink.
- Click Create Post on top of the left menu, or at the top of your collection.
Select ‘Post’ from the top bar.
Nuelink makes it easy for you to create all types of posts, but the Post is mainly created for crafting text posts, single image posts, single video posts, carousels, etc. Learn how to create short-form videos, stories, polls, and more.
Select a Collection.
If you're creating a post in your collection, then it will be autoselected.
Social Channels.
Your social media accounts will be automatically added once you select a collection they’re connected to. However, you can add more or remove any as you want.
- Add Media.
Click on 'Upload Image(s)’, 'Upload Video', or 'Media Library' to add your media.
⚠️Important Note: Each Social media platform has specific requirements for multi-image and video posts! Make sure you meet the requirements to prevent any publishing issues.
- Advanced Post Editing Options.
Add a Title and a caption to your post. Click-enhancing options like Nuelink AI assistant, the Emoji picker, and more. Learn more about advanced editing options here.
Scroll down to explore Nuelink’s advanced post settings and automations, Learn more about post options and automations.
- Schedule Options.
Finalize your posts by selecting a schedule option. Add to your collection queue, post now, post next in the queue, schedule once, or save as a draft. Learn more about how Nuelink Queue works.
- Post(s) ready.
No matter how you schedule your post you will find it in your Collection, Either in the Queue or Drafts section. You can then modify your collection settings by clicking on Settings. Also, you can edit individual posts settings by clicking the options below the posts. Learn more.
How to Add Posts in Bulk to a Collection?
- Click Bulk Upload(CSV).
Similar to a regular post, you can find the Create Post button at the top of your left menu or top right of your collection. Learn how to Bulk import with a spreadsheet file.
- Select Collection.
Select a collection to add your posts to in bulk. If you bulk import in a collection, it will be set by default.
- Upload File.
Upload your spreadsheet, and make sure you follow one of the example templates provided by Nuelink.
- Bulk Import Options.
Treat my videos as short-form vertical videos (Reels, Shorts, TikTok...): this will convert all the videos in your CSV file as Vertical short-form videos, like Reels, TikToks, and Shorts.
Also, add to Instagram feed: Automatically add your reels to your Instagram feed.
Add image to the Photos section of Google Business Profile: Choose between adding your Image to your Google Business Photos library with an update or without one.
Add hashtags, text, or a link below the caption: You can add hashtags and links to further customize your captions.
Mark the posts as drafts for later review: Mark your posts as a draft.
- Import.
Once you are finished, click Import to begin uploading your posts to your collection.
7. Post(s) ready.
You will find your posts uploaded inside the collection. Once done, they will be automatically set to your collection schedule, and you will be able to find the posts in your Collection and your Queue. How to Add Posts to a Collection Using Automations?
The process of adding automated social media content can be slightly different from the previous procedures, but it is equally simple. First, go to Automations on the left menu, and click Add Automation at the top right corner. Select any Automation (Blogs, e-commerce, Podcasts, Social, Crossposting) and click AddAutomation below it. In this tutorial, we will be using Etsy as an example. Learn more about Automations.
- Create your Automation.
Paste your online store link. Then, enable AI captions. Explore the advanced automation features provided by Nuelink. Finally, click Add Automation at the bottom.
- Create a Collection.
You will be automatically redirected to create a collection dedicated to your making the products in your store to posts.
Edit your Collection name, add your social media channels, and don’t forget to set your publishing times.
- Schedule and Save collection.
Explore Nuelink’s advanced scheduling settings. Finish your collection by selecting your preferred queue options, then click save.
- Post(s) ready.
Once you’re done, Nuelink will automatically start uploading your products and convert them to captivating social media posts. You can check them out in your Collection or your Queue. What are the types of posts I can add to a collection?

How does the Queue of the Collection Work?
The posts made or created in a collection are organized following one of three scheduling queue orders:
First In, First Out publishes posts chronologically, starting with the oldest.
Last In, First Out does the same, but starting with the newest.
Random shares posts in a random order.
What are the types of posts I can add to a collection?
Nuelink makes it easy to create and schedule all types of content, such as text, images, carousels, short and long videos, tweets, stories, and polls. Make sure your posts meet the requirements of your selected social media platforms.
Can I create a one-off post?
Yes, while all posts must be created in a collection. You can set your post to “Schedule Once” and it will be posted once at a date and time of your choice, skipping your collection queue settings.
Can I bulk-upload posts in a collection?
Certainly, we automatically place your Bulk-imported posts into a collection to help you keep your posts organized. Learn how to bulk import here.
Can I change the time of posting for a post that is already in the Queue?
Luckily, you can. Click on Edit at the bottom of the post then click on Schedule. You can then select an exact date for your post.
How does the Queue of the Collection Work?

Can I set automation to collections?
Yes, we strongly suggest setting automations for your collections to fully leverage their potential.
Can I copy a post to other collections?
Luckily, you can either move your post to another collection by clicking ‘Move’ under the post or you can click ‘Duplicate’ and select a collection to copy your post into.
How can I best use the Evergreen queue feature?
It's good to repost and reshare content on social media after a while. Some platforms don't like frequent reposting, so wait at least 4 weeks. You can change this if you want. We highly recommend that you stick to the 4-week timeframe for best results, but you can make it 1 week if you prefer. We might add an option to "re-add immediately", but we're still thinking about it.
