How to Set Up Mastodon Cross-Posting on Nuelink

Make sure you're logged in to your Nuelink account and have connected your Mastodon account and other social media accounts. If not, you can link them by following these steps. 

Let’s set up your Mastodon account to automatically share your text posts, multimedia, images, and videos on your other social media accounts.


Important Note: This automation feature automatically shares posts from Mastodon to your other social media platforms, but only if the content is published through the Mastodon website or mobile app, not via Nuelink.

  1. Log in to your Nuelink account and click on automations in the left sidebar: 

  1. Click on “Add Automation” to create your new automation:

  1. Go to the “CrossPosting” section, and click on the “Add Automation” below the Mastodon Crossposting icon: 

  1. Select a Mastodon account to auto-share the content from:

  1. Select the other social media accounts that you want to share your Mastodon content to:

  1. Choose a collection of yours to schedule the cross-posted content following its schedule, or you can leave this option off to cross-post your content directly after it’s shared on the Mastodon app:

  1. The Post Title for Pinterest, YouTube, and Facebook videos works by taking the first part of the original caption:

Note: the {{caption}} acts as a placeholder for the original post's caption.

  1. Set up a follow-up comment to be added to your post after it’s shared automatically. You can enhance it with NueAI or use it to generate your comment with a prompt. Don’t forget to adjust the delay time for the comment to be added to your posts:
